Since our founding in 1937, Shur-Gain has been in the business of supplying livestock and poultry nutrition health programs throughout Canada. Shur-Gain and its people have always taken pride in their line of products and programs. This pride has earned the organization a reputation for quality within the industry, but more importantly, with their customers.
Fifty employees accumulate 3.74 million man hours with no lost time accidents. On 19 July, 2011 the St. Marys Shur Gain feed mills passed a remarkable milestone of ten years without a lost time accident. The two feed mills on the site employ 50 people and operate 24 hours a day six days a week. Key factors in achieving this record are active safety committees and a highly committed workforce.
