Nutreco Canada has 3 main regions that represent our Shur-Gain and Landmark Feeds brands.


Central Canada — Ontario, New York State and National Pet Food
In the Central region, Nutreco Canada’s activities consist of three businesses: Ontario feed (primarily livestock), dairy (New York State), and pet food. Nutreco Canada holds a leading position in all major species thanks to the brand awareness and reputation of Shur-Gain. Shur-Gain is known for its world-class research and technology, strong customer relationships and passionate employees.

Eastern Canada — Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces
In the Eastern region Nutreco Canada operates in four provinces (Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island) and has a leading position in all species under the Shur-Gain brand. In Atlantic Canada we operate 13 retail outlets that sell over 20,000 products ranging from bird seed to pet food to specialty products.

Western Canada — Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia
The Western region of Nutreco Canada covers roughly one million square kilometers, extending 3,200 km from Thunder Bay in the east to Vancouver in the west, and with an agricultural belt averaging 300 km from north to south. Landmark Feeds has a leading position in each sector with five production plants. Products are marketed under the Landmark name, which is where the company was founded in Manitoba in 1954.
